Well, we scrubbed at 13:00 but with a lot of promise for tomorrow. Outside it looks like a classic soaring day but with winds on the ground around 30 knots no one is going anywhere and club flying has been scrubbed as well. Briefing tomorrow (4th Sept) is at 10:30.

The briefing was a 10:00 and no decision on tasking has been made except to meet again at 13:00. With only Pete Harvey having competed in a GP (in NZ) there were many question and much discussion on the rules and their interpretaion: It is of no surprise that there are so few lawyers in gliding though some entrants clearly have an aptitude for this. The chances of a task are slim as the wind stength is about 30 knots but we are club flying. Many of the great and some of the good are at Gransden so we have gathered them together for a group picture. More news at 13:30
